To ensure compliance with the new site waste management plan regulations (April 2008), any waste removed from our customer's sites or projects is returned to our Material Recycling Facility (MRF) on the Ponswood Industrial Estate where we remove as much as possible from the waste stream for recycling or reuse where we can. The minimum is sent to landfill. No waste collected from any site/ premises is sent direct to landfill.

The need to segregate waste on site is therefore not necessary. This is a very efficient way of dealing with recycling as it cuts down the number of vehicle movements to and from sites and enables the waste to be sorted much more effectively at our MRF and removed in large loads for final recycling rather than many small loads.
